    Wow - Dave and co were incredible at my wedding. Despite having driven 7 hours to get to us, they were punctual and energetic, giving us a performance that got everyone on the dance floor and entertaining all ages. The musicians themselves are incredibly talented, and Dave is a real showman. We stressed a lot about choosing the right band - we wanted people to want to dance, but not for the set to be cheesy or overdone, and we wanted it to feel cool and not too wedding-y. Dave and his band were everything we wanted and more - everyone commented on how good they were and i have never seen my dad move as much in his life. I also didn't stop dancing all night. They also learnt our first dance song and performed it beautifully. The best money we spent on the whole weekend. Book them!

    These guys are phenomenal. Not only were the five of them genuinely really nice people, but their music contributed immeasurably to the amazing 1920s themed winter ball! Showing both flexibility and versatility with our long list of requests, Mitch and the band provided such an impressive array of entertainment. Almost all attendees commented on just how awesome this band were! They were honestly incredible! They come with the best gear, play a wide variety of instruments and really focus on keeping the crowd entertained. They were such a welcome addition to the function that I'd never heard so many 'encore's. Without question or a pause of hesitation, we will be booking this band again!!!!

    I spent a long time searching online for the ultimate band to play at our wedding. When I found a video for Blue Note Mitch and the Red Hot Jacks I was confident that these guys were what I was looking for but they managed to blow my expectations out of the water. It would be impossible not to have a full dance floor and a great time with these guys playing. I lost count of the amount of people who I spoke to after the wedding that said the band were the best band they’d ever seen. They were perfect for every age group and every music taste. The ways I’d describe the band are high energy, great fun and super talented. Also worth noting that the band were a really likeable bunch of people. Absolute pleasure having them at our wedding.

    Dave and the band made a special day just that much better. Treated the guest to an amazing jazz set in the afternoon and blew their socks off with an awesome swing set in evening. Had everyone dancing and smiling. Getting people involved and giving us a night to remember. What a great bunch of guys as well, going the extra mile to make the day perfect.     Dave and the band were amazing, they set up with minimal disruption to the day. When we got started Dave was so great with getting everybody on the dance floor and the set list was fantastic. Every member of the band was great and they made our wedding reception better than we could have hoped! Thank you!

    Hoped for the best and they were just like that. They managed to get a relatively old group dancing more than they would have done for years. Just about every guest asked were I found the band.     We hired Blue Note Mitch and The Red Hot Jacks for our wedding and they were fantastic! They played a couple of low-key jazz sets during the drinks reception and then two rock & roll / ska sets in the evening. The rest of the time they provided music from an ipod, similarly low-key during dinner and music to dance to in the evening. The band are really talented and Blue Note Mitch and The Red Hot Jacks worked brilliantly with the crowd to get people in the party mood in a non-cheesy way. Everyone had a brilliant time and really enjoyed themselves. The whole room was up and dancing from the kids to my 70 year old parents. Even the lads who would normally just sit and drink got up and joined in. The band are great performers. They really made the day memorable and the evening reception more of an event than just having a DJ. What really made this group great is their effort to make sure everything goes well. Mitch called a few weeks before the day to discuss the sort of things we wanted and what the crowd would be like and this showed on the day with a setlist that had some 1950s rock & roll for the oldies. On the day, they worked well to fit into the schedule of proceedings. We had initially booked them just for the evening but given our schedule it fitted better to have them the whole day and I'm really glad we did as it really added to the atmosphere of the day. Generally, working with Blue Note Mitch and The Red Hot Jacks was one of the easier parts of organising the wedding. Their email communication about what they required was plain and straightforward, prompt, and they worked well with the venue. They supplied all their electrical safety details. My wife was initially reluctant to hire a band as she’d seen a bad example at someone else's wedding but this was not the case with Blue Note Mitch and The Red Hot Jacks. They were professional and we were more than happy to let them mingle in with our guests in the room and buffet. Overall, Blue Note Mitch and The Red Hot Jacks was a great addition to the day, everyone had a brilliant time, and will be remembered for a long time to come. Hiring Blue Note Mitch and The Red Hot Jacks was one of the best decisions we made when planning the wedding.

    We wanted a band for our self-organised wedding that would sound good, and get people up and dancing. We booked Blue Note Mitch through Alive Network, having listened to a number of different options. They totally delivered - an hour of rock and roll, and a second hour of Ska; fantastic sound, and everyone was up and dancing til the end. They were also really friendly and helpful beforehand and on the night. Highly recommended
