They totally delivered... Fantastic sound, and everyone was up and dancing til the end.
We wanted a band for our self-organised wedding that would sound good, and get people up and dancing. We booked Blue Note Mitch through Alive Network, having listened to a number of different options. They totally delivered - an hour of rock and roll, and a second hour of Ska; fantastic sound, and everyone was up and dancing til the end. They were also really friendly and helpful beforehand and on the night. Highly recommended -
The performance was excellent
The band were professional, played the music we requested, chose songs that fitted perfectly the audience we had and the performance was excellent. Highly recommended -
They performed exactly what we wanted, would highly recommend them to anyone else.
They performed exactly what we wanted, the Jazz sets whilst we were eating set the perfect background music and the main dance sets got everybody up and dancing until the end. There have been several people asking where we found them and commenting how good they were. We would and may hopefully book them again and would highly recommend them to anyone else. -
A wonderful, memorable event.
They were amazing! The standard of musicianship was excellent and as there were several musicians at our party it mattered to me that the standard was high. I added the sax player to the line up and that really lifted the sound. Dave was so professional in his approach and nothing was too much trouble; he organised the sets to include songs of John’s era and the highlight was letting him “jam” with the band much to everyone’s delight. We danced the night away to their high energy music with lovely lighting and sound system that suited our venue. I was aware that they must play much larger events but were able to adapt to our smaller group. Dave worked on some moves with the children with they loved and his humour, singing and fronting of the band held the whole evening together. He was able to pace our energy so we were reluctant to stop! I’m glad we did though as some of our older party-goers had trouble walking the next day! A wonderful, memorable event. Lynne Baines -

Just a note to say a huge thanks for the excellent music on Saturday night. We all had a great time and you certainly hit the spot. You are a remarkably versatile band – just what we wanted. Megan and Matt both wanted to pass on their thanks for making their party go with a swing and for making their “flight to the moon” so memorable! We’d be very happy to pass on a recommendation to anyone who’s thinking of booking you for their special day. -
I can't rate these guys enough.
Blue Note Mitch and the Red Hot Jacks are definitely one of the best things I spent money on at my wedding! From Sean beautifully playing acoustic guitar as my entrance and exit music music in the church, to a perfect chilled jazz set whilst guests were enjoyed the wedding breakfast, to a rockin' evening set that got every single person up dancing! I can't rate these guys enough, everyone commented on how good the band were. Can't wait for the next big party to hire the band again! -

This band played at my wedding and were outstanding.
Mitch and Band....You are all amazing! This band played at my wedding and were outstanding, they even let me play a song on guitar with them as a tribute to my husband. I never thought I would get an opportunity like that, I can't thank you enough! X
